What if your grandma turned into a cute young girl?
Nineteen-year-old Yuu can’t stand his younger sister, Otoko, and the feeling is mutual. It’s been almost a year since Yuu saw her last, having escaped his dreary hometown to study in the bustling city, but with the advent of New Year’s he finds himself obliged to return to his family to celebrate. Unfortunately, Yuu’s absence has not softened his younger sister, and Otoko is just as sullen and surly as ever before.
Finding the atmosphere at home unbearable, Yuu decides to escape once more — not to the city this time, but to his grandmother’s snowy, secluded village. The reunion between grandson and grandmother starts normally at first… until one moonlit night, when the pair witness a star streaking through the sky.
The following morning, Yuu enters the kitchen, still half-asleep, to discover...
...that his grandmother has transformed into a cute young girl!

A chilling visual novel
This is the second attempt at taking a visual novel for a spin, it has solid visuals, an interesting plot, and overall, it is a fun game.

A Winter's Daydream is a visual novel pure and simple. There is no decision making, there are no various plot arcs depending on what we choose, there are no mini-games… there is nothing. This fact does not imply that the game is bad, but it should be noted that the title is a kind of digital story where the words and illustrations follow each other until the end of the adventure. Any hint of emotion, intrigue or feelings is not linked to our actions as a player, but to what we are reading on the screen. Those players who do not master English in writing may not fully connect with those feelings offered by the ebi-hime proposal, basically because it requires a moderate/high level not only to understand the plot, but to be a part of everything. what is happening in the story.
