You can only smash so many robots before the mind numbs.
You can say what you want, but Smashing the Battle is both equally silly and clever enough to exactly describe this game. You are tasked with eradicating rogue robots at an underground construction facility after a hacking incident occurred there. Smashing those buggers in battle is exactly what you will be doing for the next 15–20 hours.

Every character is a voluptuous female with plenty of plot and physics to spare, and the four playable heroines are dressed to match that as well. Your adversaries are construction-type robots, fitting the theme. The environment consists of generic underground industrial facilities with little variation.

There are 30 missions (plenty more in challenge mode) that are usually structured around entering a small arena, clearing it of enemies, and moving on to the next one until you reach the final boss with a large health bar. There are some variations with time limits and area hazards, but most play out the same.

Clearing an area of enemies awards you with currency and resources to upgrade your armor and skills. These add some variety to the gameplay, but you can beat the game by only using basic attacks and dodging. If you finish any mission with the highest ranking, then you’ll get a key that unlocks some of the plethora of art available.

Replayability is limited to obtaining better scores and faster clear times for higher rewards and personal satisfaction.

Smashing the Battle won’t win any awards for its writing, the monotonous gameplay loop, or its presentation. You are getting a solid and competent, but somewhat generic, arena brawler that despite being built on a budget, has heart. If it is ultimately worth both your time and money is up to you.

The PS4 limited edition looks great on the shelf, though.

My Smashing
The game is as straightforward as possible and designed for players who just want to relax in the process of mindless arena violence. From the first minutes she dumps her virtues on the player, not forgetting to inform that several more characters, with equally spectacular virtues, can be opened in the process of passing ...

Like most arena action games, this game is designed for short sessions, not a volley, and will not present any sane story content. Only, perhaps, a mechanical and aesthetic pleasure if the player loves arena action games and anime half-naked combat beauties with spectacular forms.
